You are better than me. I have not been going cause of the heat.

 

Got real close to killing a good buck 10 min before last light yesterday.

 

Guys we are not far out of this contest. A few does or a couple bucks and we are right in the thick of it.

 

I had a lone doe meandering by at 40-45 20 min ago.

Sure would like to see a buck come thru now. 25 yards would be awesome

 

No such luck. Going to a different spot tomorrow morning.

Headed back into that area tomorrow. Temps much more favorable. I'd be thrilled to see a decent buck or maybe a few smaller bucks. Been a rough last couple weeks.

Good luck to you guys this weekend! I might try to get out in a few weeks to fill a doe tag but it depends on my better half and what is reasonable haha. Hopefully we can pull off a top 4 finish!

 

Taking this weekend off and at a soccer tourney. Back after em next week.

 

I will probably hunt tomorrow. Looking for some more meat. Big temp drop for us as well.
