Right with you...no deer for me last year and I'm usually pretty good for one or 2..i have target panic and my scotts archery wrist release broke but have a back up one but that didn't help my target panic at all...best of luck

Got out today and hung 2 more cameras. Going to let them soak for a few weeks. This property doesn't open to hunt until Oct 1st. I went about 2.25 miles from the trail head where I had a lot of action last yet. I still have a stand setup in the area that was untouched so that was good to see. Came out to find about a thousands chiggers and ticks all over my clothes. Luckily all my stuff has been treated with permethrin so they were all dead. Overall I have 6 cams setup on that perticular property spread out over a few miles. Looking forward to checking them all in a few weeks. I will be hunting NC opener and can hopefully get a doe down. I have a few stands hung out already at that property too. All my gear is ready to go and now I just wait.

Seen some studs being taken in TN so far this year. Looks like a great state to get in an early season hunt. Lots of nice deer out in TN.

Slugger, looks like you are working hard man. Good luck. I have brand new ground Im hunting this year so each hunt is Day 1 for me. ha. I guess I'll see what my modified summer scouting has done for my success shortly.

Loving the predator posse. Speaking of predator, the new film, Prey, is pretty fricken awesome! I keep getting this 8 on camera. My father-in-law has some great bucks on his property at the time and if I am not able to traverse the terrain this buck is on then I'm going to stick to the private. b5c5e29c-74ee-4a7b-98d7-16fbbdd18035.jpg 76b76151-7aee-4c4b-998b-9781d338dcfd.jpg

Whats helped me with my target panic is shooting with my eyes closed at a target that is 3 or 4 yards away, and drawing my bow putting on target and letting down with OUT FIRING a shot, this has helped the most.
