Nothing for me except another hunter, that might be why that doe and fawn ran by yesterday and I didn't see anything tonight. He cut through lower end of the field. Coming and going.

He apologized for doing so. He didn't know I was there.

You able to adjust to where the deer will maybe briefly relocate based on pressure?

I put done a pretty cool PA buck yesterday eve. He’s got 4 on the one side and the other side has 2, which is almost like a big club that sweeps forward. His body was significantly bigger than the other bucks and his teeth are worn down. Not sure if he’s an old warrior on the way down rack wise. Pictures, score, and story later today.

@tca126 congrats, man! Can't wait to see pics and read the story.

I skipped my morning hunt...slept though my alarm because it was set for 2:15 and I fell asleep at around 1:50 due to one restless legs and the joys of anxiety. Going out tonight and we'll see if I can put something down!

Heading out in a bit for an evening sit where I had found the remnant of a decent shed during Turkey season. Nice ridge off an oxbow...

I want to get going, but need the wind to switch blowing from the south...

Kinda tricky to get into...have to thread this gap on the E/SE side with private surrounding.

Pretty sure I have no signal there...and if I find no sign and see no deer, likely the only time I'll be back in there...let's do this.[IMG]

Entered my buck on the scoring thread at 76 2/8”. Short story is I’ve seen a group of between 5-8 bucks in a small food plot on the gravel road at the end of my evening hunts as I’m leaving the the property. No trees in the area where I needed to be, So I tossed on the leafy suit top and tucked myself up against against the bank of a pond with some goldenrod/high stem count stuff in front of me creating a natural blind. At 7:05 PM a single doe came into the plot with 6 bucks following. Took a 33 yard shot and the rest is history.

No shots tonight, but good hunt.

Unfortunately somebody was already at the spot I wanted to hunt, fortunately I had other spots marked.

4pm, I scrambled into the first spot I had marked...a nice oak stand in the midst of a pine forest. Just 300yds in. Found a nice track, scrape and plenty of falling acorns.

6:30 I had, what I think was a buck circle behind me on the ridge from my 6 to my 9. I just caught a peek through some thick foliage 30-40yds away...

3 for 3 seeing deer on sits...just need the opportunity now...
