I walked some as well and came up empty. I'm going out to western NE for my first muley shed hunt on Saturday! There are plenty of whitetails there too so who knows what we could come up with. Hopefully it turns out well.
Walked my arse off yesterday, three different properties. NADA... checked cams when I got home. Bucks still packing!! Crazy
Scored a road shed on the interstate in the grassy median while coming home from pulling stands out in western Illinois. Mike was driving rolling along about 75mph and I just yelled out SHED stop the truck....after pulling over and running back 100yds to pick it up I was pleasantly surprised it was in mint condition and was actually not a shed but a road hit that busted off and landed up in the ditch.
Not sure if it counts but I found my first ever elk antler today!!! I'm super pumped it's been a dream of mine to find one ever since I was a little kid! Found it in Arizona.
