    Well the second gun season came to a close tonigh. I didn't have a tag so didn't go out.

    Anybody else have any luck? Or got anything coming up?

    I shot a decent buck with the bow but couldn't find him after tracking an awesome blood trail for 200+ yards. Looked at the video and best I can figure is at the last second before the arrow made contact the deer dropped enough and turned...very disappointed...still having problems grasping the fact that this deer is not in my freezer...

    On a high note, I got an early Christmas present...a CVA box complete with .50 cal black powder rifle, synthetic stock, Burris predator scope and all the fixings! Sighted it in on a Saturday out to 100 yards and bagged a nice little 6 pointer with it on Sunday! One of the best Christmas gifts ever!!
