70° and hail last week and 11" of snow yesterday. I'll be lucky to get out this weekend; weather wise and I have a wedding Saturday.

Hey guy's! I haven't been around much, I blew out my back a few weeks ago. Just starting to get around a little and feeling better. So this afternoon was my first shed hunt in almost a month. Got out for about a hour and checked a honey hole that I usually find a shed in every year. And it didn't disappoint! Only found 1, but a big one!

Well guys, I pretty much suck at shed hunting. Put in well over 20 miles on foot last weekend in Kansas scouting public ground, and didn't find a single one. I did pick up a new piece of property to hunt and have walked it a couple times, but no sheds so far. I'll be spending a ton of time there over the next couple months getting the place ready to hunt, so I'm hopeful that I'll find something there. I know there are good bucks on the place, but not sure if someone shed poached it already.

I haven't done too much other than playing with sheds in the house. The winter was bad so didn't get any work out in the yard. He really didnt "find" the sheds couldnt get on any that were from this year with some scent on them. All those are 2+ years old but by the second one id see it and change my path to walk by and he was marking them and bringing it back then a whole lot of praise and a happy owner. Basically made it to easy to fail then congratulated and let him prance around a bit with his prize.
