    Found my first shed. Just a small thing actually almost kicked it. Feels like a trophy find being my very first. Still looking through the woods.

    Make that two. Fifty or sixty yards from where I found the first on inside the woods. Followed the trail. Don't know if it's the matching side, if it is its a small six, real small. Has a interesting bump on the one point. Never even seen this deer this last season.

    Good finds Shawn! The first one is the hardest. The little bump in the tine of the shed, I have always called them acorns. Neat find, I have only found a couple with them.

    Hope your little one is doing better combat.

    60° this weekend so I'm hoping to spend a few hours out. Might try my best property although it hasn't produced the last two years.

    I will be out on my management property Saturday, it has a super thick bedding area, going to be looking through the thicket. I do know there was a small 8 point out there this last year but I don't know if he got shot during gun season. Hoping to continue this luck from yesterday. How is your child doing combat?

    Same here; 70 today and 65 Saturday and Sunday. I know I can't go tomorrow but my plan is to go Sunday for a while.

    I hoping to be out tomorrow also, supposed to hit close to 65 here. I don't know about you guys but I actually like walking for sheds when it's in the 30's

    It use to count in past contest, but if you find the rest it still only 1 shed. But some were I read that Dan changed it this year and it has to have the burr to count.

    That'd be too bad. Pretty tough for any to be broken that low I would think.
