I never made it out shed hunting yesterday. I ended up goose hunting all day Saturday. By 9:30 we hit a 15 man limit, and spent the rest of the day drinking and eating in the pit! Fun day and I was paying for it today! Haha

I'm just hearing of some bucks starting to drop around me. The earliest I have found fresh sheds is around the 15th of February. It will happen soon guys!

No, left at dark that night and didn't think to take any pics. I know some guys did some video with there phones while shooting. It was one of those dream days. We pushed off over 400 geese off the pit in the dark. Then in the next 6 hours it was none stop flock after flock trying to get back in to the pond. While the dogs were working and picking up birds, the geese were still trying to land. If we had no limit, we could have easily shot 100 birds on Saturday. The best hunt of the year and it was the last day of the season.

Lucky we have been shut down with the waterfowl since about the week after thanksgiving due to about 2 feet of snow that week.
I've been going over google earth the last couple of days looking at public land here in MN. Supposed to be 40° and sunny on Sunday so I'm hoping to make it out to try a couple new spots.

I probably get 75% of my sheds from public. It's definitely worth checking out. It usually gives you alot more land to walk. I am heading out this afternoon, hoping to find a few fresh ones!
