I'm going Thursday. Supposed to rain. So that should help the dog. And hopefully they have dropped.

Found number 21 today on my lunch break...just happened to walk on the right trail or I would have never found it.

You are definitely "killin" it. The grass is getting tall enough here that they are getting hard to find without standing on top of them. It is going to make mushrooms hard to find!!

Yeah this has been my best year yet. The problem is I also picked up a bunch of old ones in new spots so they won't be laying around next year to find so my numbers will probably drop. I had planned on being done but couldn't resist walking a spot where deer hang out pretty often and it worked out.

I was determined to find the matches to the two big ones I found earlier this year so I tried a new spot but ended up finding a third big buck shed instead. It was last year's shed but surprisingly had no chew marks or anything. Fifty yards ahead, I ended up finding what I thought was the match but it turned out to be this year's shed from the same buck. Numbers 22 and 23. Guess the search is still on for the matching sides to all 3 deer now...

Think everyone would believe it if I found forty or fifty on April 30th before the contest ends of May 1st so that we could win? :)

Sure, as long as you have pics of them and don't give any reason to be suspicious of them I don't know why there'd be a problem. I have not looked lately...do we need that many to win...good grief.

Although I didn't walk a lot at the end of the year, I did walk 27 miles earlier on. Weird year up here though; had a buddy with a picture with a buck carrying both sides on April 9th.

    Always next year..

I doubt we would need that many to win I just figured it would put us over the top for sure haha...I wish I could find that many in a year much less a day...and I jumped a buck last week still carrying both sides and yet I had one in my yard with fresh velvet nubs

Thanks, I think I've moved on though...thick woods are getting tough and turkeys are calling my name louder haha. Still trying to get into the mushroom finding hobby but haven't gotten hooked yet. Might help if I could find some though.
