I normally don't break 10 in a year and usually its like 4-6 but this year has been great. Mainly because my wife was on maternity leave for 3 months so I had a car everyday instead of her dropping me off at my work on her way in. That has sadly come to an end though so I have to bargain with her when I am needed to get out of the office at lunch time.

Have been very frustrated in the last 3 weeks. Come to find out after hanging a camera and some bait, that the big 10, an 8 and a 6 are all still carrying! This is crazy. Had 1 shed buck on camera. So I'm going down on Thursday my day off to put some more miles on the boots.

Got a chance to go out last week for about an hour. All I found was a little "dead". Really nice up and comer. NOT sure how he was killed but it was this past season. There is a guy that hunts next to my in-laws. Not sure how I've missed him the past 3 times I've walked past there. Need to go through all the pic's on the camera. Took the card out and there was over 13,000 pics on there. Said the card was full on the 2nd of March. Seems most of the bucks are still carrying. Like Mike said, looks like I'm going to put some more miles on the boots.
P.S. Wife was out with the boys next to her folks pond the other day when she spotted a trespasser. She confronted him and like most if not all of them they used the line "I'm lost". BS!!! She led him back to where he was supposed to be. He was out shed hunting. This could be some of decline this year for me............................

Found this set on lunch break today. Almost missed them but something told me to walk over to this one spot and there they were. Another week or two and they would have been lost forever. Puts me at 20 total.

The winter here was way to nice. They didn't stay close to the food like they have the last few years. I'm gaining lots of miles on the ole boots but not much in the shed category.
Keep up the good work sheddinva!!!!!

I'm not sure what's going on here this year with my shed hunting. I've been out a few times walking and a lot with the UTV tending feeders and burning and I've just not found much at all. I know it's not lack of deer, specifically bucks, holy crap I have been getting 10-15 nice bucks at all 15 cameras I still have out.

I have a hell of a lot of ground though that they run on I guess and I had about 280 acres of milo last season so my guess is they dropped in that stubble and I just can't find them. Everything in those fields looks like a deer antler, the leaves once they drop curl and roll and look exactly like an antler.

Was hoping to beat last year's total but now I'd be lucky to get double digits.

I've been finding a few here and there, should pick our total up a bit. I'll post pics here before long.

Looks like we've fallen quite a ways behind...

#1 for the year so far. I've put more time and miles in this year than I ever have and end up finding this one while at work. image.jpg

The first pic is an antler I already posted two pages back.*

Yep, I think I have all of them accounted for though everyone should check the numbers and make sure I have not missed any.

I had the tally right, I just missed changing the line I guess.
