Man that sucks I know alot of counties are getting hit with EHD hope that didn't happen to your property.
Going out in the morning, doing a little self filming for my bowhunting series. Saw 3 does out riving earlier tonight and my brother saw 2 bucks this morning so hopefully something will be traveling by me tomorrow morning before this super storm hits me up here in mass.
Well I went out Sunday morning the 28th and connected with a nice 8 point, got set up late and he came in on me while I was climbing my tree. I tried to pull my bow up with out him seeing me but got busted and he turned and went back to where he came from. I finished getting set up and rattled alittle and here he came back he was 30 yrds off to my right and just had to wait for him to step in to an opening. I sent a rage into the cage and he went 30yrds from where I shot him. I know he is not the biggest buck in the woods but he is my biggest bow kill. I have killed other big bucks but with a gun so I am very proud of this one. I will get a tape on him as soon as I get him back from the butcher so we can get some more points on the board. Here is a picture of him.
Good job and Congrats! Its a great sense of satisfaction, pride and sense of accomplishment to beat that prior personal best (in any category). Sounds like you didn't spook him too badly if he came back out. Nice! If you haven't already, just a reminder to make sure you post the details, pics, date and time in the scoring thread. I hope to get back out after this storm finishes up, as its gotten nice and cool.

Congrats Timmy! Its finally just starting to get cool here, though I've seen few deer in the past couple weeks. I may need to mix things up. I suspect we have a week or two left before the rut hits us...the problem is gun season is also right around the corner. This next week is the last week of muzzleloader season, which I hunt with bow and my blaze orange :| My game plan will be to switch over to gun (sorry) 11/10 to get some meat for the freezer and hopefully switch right back to the bow. I've seen A LOT of deer this year within rifle range, only a few in bow range and still haven't hit any of the bow only land that I have available.
