What’s up Team 3 !! My name is Curt Ethridge . I’m 55 and I live, eat and sleep to hunt. Started when I was 10 and never stopped. I hunt primarily in northwest Missouri about and hour south of Iowa and I live and hunt in Alabama. I would say my hunting is about equal between the two states. I won the BHOD big doe contest a few years back. Our lease in Missouri has some giants on it but you got to work for them. Most of the bucks we take are in the 140-150 class. We have 680 acres which is spread out over 3 different tracks of land which gives us a lot of diversity. Can’t wait to start flying arrows this year at some bone. I agree, here is Alabama I usually don’t get serious until mid to late December. The first week of January it’s on and I hammer down on them. !
Going into a long weekend for some of us do yall have any plans on prepping for season? Im going to try to get some stands up and feel a few feeders. It’s been super dry here hopefully we will get some rain soon and in a few weeks start on food plots.
I’m gonna wait to start filling feeders in Alabama till we plant Sept 21st. Still way too much browse right now but that just me. I feel they know where those feeders are in the fall and they will come back to the same places as last year when they get hungry.
