    Bobcat031 checking in!
I am retired about 1 year and plan on spending more days than ever in the woods this season! I've been bowhunting about 50 years. I was finally able to purchase my father in-laws farm acres. It's only 23. But it is surround by other open fields. My plot is 10 acres woods and 15 acres tillable, which is corn this year. I've been hunting it over 40yrs.
I hunt it with my son and son in-law (evilstuff who's also in this contest).
I have many trail. Amsterdam out and have several nice bucks.

Hey bama, we start September 15th thru January 15th. It was about the same here yesterday and I'm also looking for cooler weather! I'm going to try the saddle hunting this year simply because it should be like standing on a pole to me. lol

my knee is recovering quite nicely, I think I’m ahead of the game. It’s 10 X stronger now and no pain at all

lol. I understand I guess I have been using a saddle for a couple years now. I also do the similar type work you do here at one of the predominant colleges mostly known for football. We handle all of our medium voltage, but most of ours are underground and also all other power through out campus “Electrical maintenance “I moved to management in June so hopefully I want have to work every football game and have most of my Saturdays off to hunt.

I might add I have a problem of taking "everything" to the woods with me. Saddle hunting will eliminate me carrying a stand and steps when I go in to hunt a new place. I can just take my hooks with me and walk up the tree instead of making all that noise hanging sticks and stands.

Just aquired another private parcel that I am pretty excited about. Just need to wait for the right wind and pressure and hopefully will be kill time!

I see we have 2 team name suggestions-
