Think I got another shooter on cam...looks like a big aggressive boy too. Needs to be taken out before he runs all the bucks off the land here!!!
Me too Slugger. The kid sounds like a killing machine - would love to have him sign in and participate. If he doesn't sign in before the weekend, I hope we get someone who participates on the thread and has some fun.
I'm for sure active but the problem is last year the deer skunked me so I couldn't contribute that much. But this year will be different bc I've got some new place to hunt as well as my house which I can hunt at as well!
Yeah I had a 2 year gap myself untill last year. Its just for fun thats the main thing to remember. But I believe this team has a real shot!!
I could shoot a ton of deer if I hunted with a rifle... it's just so easy! I only hunt with a bow nowadays - and LOVE it (even during rifle season). I only shoot archery due to a few reasons... but again - I absolutely can't wait to get in the woods!!!!!
Sorry fellas I haven't been able to get on the forum but its finally working now I been working all week mostly an jus tryna spend as much time with the family cuz u know how it gets around season especially being married me an my wife are 2 years goin on three an she is jus now starting to make comments here in there about goin out with me. That Wud Be The Day when she does. Lol Anyhow this weekend im fishing its gonna cool dn then sunday im pulling my cards so hopefully I will have some pics to post. Im gonna finish my ground blind saturday so I will post the finish product when im done. Then go put it out for gud an c how she holds up. 33 days an a wake up for me then its decision time. I have 2 stands out already plus the new blind will make another seat so im just tryna determine what spot to hit open day. I shot a buck on open day last year called Bad Gene. He filled the freezer thats for sure but didnt have anything for a rack an this deer had to be at least a 3 1/2 cuz he was big body here's a pic up close Anyhow im still lookin for this buck I call deuce here is a pic from 2013 hoping he shows up as a strong 4 year old on camera fingers crossed I got the green light to where he's running around so im hopeful he is a taller 7 pointl but I haven't seen him since. Nice deer! And yeah I only hunt with a bow now as well. A few years ago I got a decent one for around here but after that decided I wanted to bowhunt more. I'll get em this year though
And I don't remember what team I was on last year cmonsta but we may have been! I know my team didn't win though!
Tryna figure out which minerals to put out this weekend an put some apples out too wud u believe it I can get them by the boxes when they go out of date the local grocery store throws them away when they expire but there still basically gud an hard so I Get'em from my job I drive a roll off an they come in around this time. Any suggestions on minerals cost wize an quality? Here alot about monster raxx on the site but I never tried it.
I love Monster Raxx myself. I have had great success with it and even killed a buck last year that I have pictures of hitting my Raxx site in velvet. I have put it in a lot of random places and always brings deer in for me. I know deer can act different in different areas though, I have a friend that doesnt have much luck with Raxx. But most people I know who ever used it have similar results that I have had.
