    Team,

As promissed here are some pics from my camera pull this weekend.

The good news, I have pictures of the two bucks I want to keep tabs on.
The bad news, they seem to have gone nocturnal on me already.

I set up two stands this weekend in the most humid weather we have had all year. I was hoping for rain to wash my scent away but it never developed. There is a chance for rain everyday this week so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

The 12 pointer looks to be a great deer but I bet he would be a giant next year. I will have to see how the season goes, if he wanders past my stand it will be a difficult decision.

Nice lookin bucks if u got the property pretty well to yourself letting him walk is actually not a bad idea but tbh he looks to be a shooter now but one more year wud give him good growth potential so ur right decision time when he walks by gud luck anyhow

One of my neighbors is great but the other is, well lets just say, not so patient. I'd would let him walk if I thought I would ever see him again but the chances would be slim.

Pretty much done... I just gotta' get all my gear around - take inventory, wash clothes in scent-free detergent, spray down all gear store everything in my totes with acorn and pine wafers. Can't wait.

I finished putting together a hunting log on an Excel Spreadsheet for this year's season (something I've never done before)... I'm looking forward to seeing (statistically) stories it will tell me at the end of the year.

    Did I say... can't wait???

Oh WAIT... I gotta' purchase my license yet!!! :p

can never be too ready but got my stands set, plots in, bow tuned but now gotta get the gear ready. Might be investing in a new jacket this season, the new under armour speed freak jacket. tried it on at Cabelas so I might have to go get it!

Im not ready at all haha. But I never am. Sure cant wait though. Hanging another stand today, have been hanging stands and cutting lanes the last few days. Think today might be the last one I hang for now. Would like to have 1 or 2 more but running out of time and have other things to do before I head back to ND.

Hey fellas...it looks like the team is really shaping up as far as pulls. I had a buddy of mine put out two cams in a spot that I had some great encounters with a decent buck late last year. I hutn on base so those bucks are fairly easy to pattern...i would say he was around 110 last year so hopefully he turns up again this year. I wont be able to pull the cards until I get back but i might have him check once before I do and send the pics. I know I cant contribute as early as I wouldve liked to but Im gonna hunt the limbs off my bow when I get home!!! And I will be your biggest fan until then...good luck guys

Also I've been out practicing and scouting so don't worry I should still be able to pull my own weight on the team !

WELCOME!!!! and Thanks for checking in!!! Actually, you're not late - everyone has 2 weeks to check in... so you're good. Best of luck in school (that comes before hunting you know!!!!) and football. When does your season start (I know, I hunt down there each year but I really don't know when it actually starts or how long the season actually is - not that I'm a poacher - it's that we don't go down until mid November and then for only about a week).

    Glad you're on the team!!!
