BUSTED... it's like I was wearing a neon sign blinking "Here I am!" and THAT long-nosed matriarch doe let every other deer know exactly where I was! Great night in the woods though... had a squirrel come to within 5' of me before he jumped a mile and skedaddled outa' there like a rocket! Too funny.

Actually it was a good thing I didn't get to shoot a deer. I forgot my smart phone and camera and I was about 50 miles from home. Gotta' work tomorrow and Saturday. Looks like I'll be back at it next week - Monday, Tues, Wed and Thurs.

I gotta' get some blood on this Chill

Well team sorry I haven't been around. Have I missed anything?

Season opens here in the morning. Think Im pretty ready, not 100% but ill have to make due. Ready mentally though been very excited. My main hitlist buck broke his main beam so im a bit down about that. Not sure what to do. Hopefully a bigger buck gives me a shot first haha. Either way I cant wait and hope to have 100-125 points on the ground by sundown tomorrow.

I also got a new job. My dream job in this industry. So I will be having 3 weeks off before the new job. And the new job is 2 weeks on 2 off, so more home time the my current North Dakota job. Very excited and hopefully means more hunting!

Well it was a good morning in the blind I got in there at about 630 perfect timing. I had a mature doe come in at 75 yards to the food plot I had one opportunity at her at 44 yds feeding on peas but then she went out of sight really quick on the move then came back around at 15 yds then just my luck she must've caught some movement because she stared the blind down for a bit an then hightailed outta there but it was definitely an awesome experience nonetheless I had a good time in the blind this morning headed back out this evening

Finally in a tree. Shot good this morning and I'm ready to rock. Still raining a bit but should be finished soon. Love when it rains all night and morning, normally leads to early deer movement from my experience. Think for now I'm just focused on buck hunting. We'll see what happens though. I do have 1 doe tag this year.
