I will most definitely post pics when I put it in place fri. Im gonna have to trailer it up the road to the spot were gonna hunt if I can get it moved sooner I will put some pics of it up asap it looks decent for a homemade blind.
Might just get one from the porch this year too fellas lol its pretty thick where I live an on the other side of the tree line there is ag fields might get lucky well c I practice at times in low light cuz u never no when that big ones gonna waste til the last 30 min of shooting to step out so im staying ready an prepared
4 more days until I'm sitting in the stand. My big bucks have not shown up on camera since I put out my treestands, hopefully they are just scurting around the stands and camera's now until they get used to them. Prime time is almost 2 months out so I'm not worried yet.
Well I have not been out again. Practice is really killin me but we have most Saturdays off and I always get a little "sick" and can't go to school a couple days in November so no worries I'll be out soon
Well nothing new to update on hunting with me. Just wanted you all to know Im thinking of ya! Awwww I know, Im sweet lol. Anyway figured I would also share something pretty cool I was able to see. Was heading back to the hotel a few nights back from the job site when we came up on a group of mule deer buck. There was 5 in total right by the road. Was only able to get any good pictures of the 2 below, of course the biggest one woldnt stick around for the camera. He didnt take off, just wouldnt let us take his picture. He was probably over 160" if I had to take my best guess. The picture doesnt do the other 2 justice either. The bigger one is around 150" id bet, and the smaller around 130". The other 2 not in the picture were around 80-100" bucks. Was so cool to see. I also seen a giant 2 days ago 200 yards across the field, so no way I could get a cell phone picture. He had to be over 180". And thats not to mention the 100 pronghorn I see every day, several Im sure are over P&Y min but I know nothing about scoring them lol. So much awesome wildlife out here, if you ever get the chance to come out take it!!
We had a big temperature drop in WI yesterday, I will definitely be sitting in a stand on Saturday (opening day). Have to wash up all my camo tonight now and get my gear organized.
Yes sir gud luck this weekend an ur right scent control work this weekend for me too plus putting the blind out plus pull in the new spot card fingers crossed. How cold is it up in Wisconsin anyway?
