Well my plan has not gone well so far.. I had to get out of the tree bc there was a storm here and it was thundering and lightning and all that jazz. I'm very angry right now bc I bet you if this storm stops those deer will flood to the field before I can get to my stand. So I'm gonna try and see if the big deer comes out by looking from a far and if he does I'll get In their Monday or Tuesday evening and wax him
Well the storm here never quit.. I couldn't go see if he came to the field. Will have to hope he stays in area and will try and get out ASAP

Passed 2 small bucks and had the one I want at 26 yards Only problem was I was half way down my stand to get out Didnt spook him and will be back in there tomorrow eve. He wont score a bunch but I love the character I call him double turkey foot and want a velvet buck really bad !

A look at my favorite hunting spot the food plot there is purple hull peas okra tomato etc in there some potatoes too but I went to make sure my stand was gud today there was a few doe an fawns in there so I know The Big 8 Is hanging around an when the rut kicks in hell be in there. I nd to put a camera in there asap my other 2 are in separate location but I know they're there. One week till opening here for me... So getting the itch... Getting out daily practicing shots.. But it still isn't curbing the urge.. soon enough.. will be looking down upon the forest floor, Bow in hand with a grin on my face.
