    Skunked again!!!! tonight is the last night im gonna hunt since its cooling off but supposed to start raining hard the next few days. If it doesnt happen tonight ill try and make it back down in a week of so whenever the weather cools. Im def in his core area!!!

    Keep after him! Just curious, but how far do you live from where you hunt? I see where you said you will try to make it back down. I live about 3 hours from where I deer hunt and it really sucks when you get some good weather days and you can't get out:mad:

    Rutin, BC, VS good luck guys.. Anyone else hunting yet? Great day yesterday, passed up a nice 3.5 year old 120-125 grossing 4x5... several does.. (wish I had doe tag for E. Wash.) Was able to shoot some good footage through the day. Back in Idaho this evening then back over to E. Wash all day tomorrow.. Waiting on a hawg!

    How about them BOISE STATE BRONCOS! LOL ... my lifelong best friend coaches there so you guys get to hear about the Broncos all season :)

    Around my house, then I hunt about 1/2 hour to 1 hour away in a couple other of my Idaho spots.. E. Wash, just over 1 hour. My Montana doe spot is about 5 hours.. (late season hunt)

    I hunt Iowa every 3 years :) with a bud out there. Hunting N.D. this year with TJF..again... can't wait!

    Ill be going out on the 10th. Ill be hunting on the base im stationed at, and i have no idea what to expect!!!! ive heard good thing about it tho...

    Well it was for lack of trying and prep work... but with two day being in the 100's and then last night being 79 degrees but a freakin monsoon we never saw a single deer. The deer were all moving a hour or so after sun down and the big guy disappeared for a few days and then cam back clean as a whistle. Go figure I had to be back on duty today and the temps are crazy cold!!! Prob have a pic of him 30 yards from my stand when I get back down there. Anyway im gonna try and make it back down here before too long. I def know his core area... its just a matter of time. Heres a few pics from this past weekend.

    Nice Job! I always love to get one down right off the bat. Nothing like an early season kill to renew your confidence in your skills.
