Yesterday I was able to put out my other camera. I found an area that there were a ton of tracks (ton for up here anyway) along the creek closer to the lake. Looks like they've been feeding along the edge and checking for open water. I put my camera there. When I go back to check it I might push over a couple standing dead spruce. There's a ton of old man's beard on them and it might draw them in front of my camera, or stand My other camera had a big doe that I've been watching all year on it and a small doe. No Blade. No 8 pointers. I also put out my dad's Ice Castle yesterday. While do that I plowed a path across the lake through the drifts, but it was so windy that by the time I came back across, you could barely tell I had been there. I'm afraid that my stealthy low scent trips across are finished for the year That just means my commute just got much quicker. Much! Now if the wind would die down, I just might get out for a hunt. My mom & sisters are coming up this weekend. Then we have guests and my in-laws up all next week and through New Years. Not sure how much I'll get out, but I'll sure try! One week from Saturday and I'm done for the year...
Friday afternoon will more than likely be my last hunt for the 2011 season. I have only hunted twice in the last 6 weeks. After Friday I have to buckle down for the remaining 20 days or so of the police academy.
Sat out tonight. Didn't see anything, but I got my stand set up in a nice spot. Hoping to get out tomorrow night & maybe part of friday. It'll be sketchy after that.
VS Best of luck to you my freind on your entering the Police Force and may God be with you in your endevours in keeping you safe. Rocky
Worried? Hardly. We're doing what we can to help one of God's children. We actaully have you guys right where we want you..behind us!
Thank you Rocky. Yesterday we had a police shooting in my county. A guy bailed on a stolen car, ran into the woods, and then walked at officers with a loaded handgun and failed to follow their instructions. The bad guy lost his life.
WIll Did I feel a little bit of intense feelings there bud!!! Were coming and were going to turn the blade LMAO j/k Rocky VS That's usally there death wish when they fail to listen, they just want to go down so they don't have to face the world anymore. It's a sad situation for both side's,who want's to take the blame for shooting someone with out bullets in the chamber and that's the way they plan it too so the cops look bad., Life's a drag some time's, and that's where God comes in,he's our saviour.Amen Rocky
T-minus 90 minutes I will be entering the deer woods for the last time this season. Going to soak it all up.
