Time to do what we were born to do.......KILL!

I'm Brett. I will not be able to hunt a great deal this year. However, I have scouted hard the past several years so each hunt should pretty efficient. I will be hunting with my recurve again this year and my shooting seems to be pretty good. I like the looks of our team. Lets knock some does down to pump our score up.

    Hey Team
Don't let the name be miss leading, I'm not as young as I once was. Id change my name from youngfart to midlifefart if I could, but the system won't allow me. I'm from Edmonton ,Alberta , Canada.. I've had the honour to hunt along side Iamyourhuckelberry and Shed33 from this site and contest. This year with my job change 3 years ago, I'll only be able to hunt selectively. Not to worry, I'll put some game on the ground, I always do. I just can't be to selective, if it's 130 or better I'll do my best to put him down. What I'm really saying is ,like last year I have 6 working days put aside to get my Moose ,Elk, 2 does and 2 bucks on the ground. Question is ? Can I do it, LOL. I'll be put to the test again. Can't wait to start to meet another great bunch of folks, that's what this is all about right ? Making friends, some for life!!!! Season opens in 8 days:nana:

    Hi guys
I'm Ryan, I hunt PA & OH. There's a very good chance I will put some points on the board for our team. I'm gonna have a little more time than usual this fall and there's always some shooters around.
Hope to get to know you guys a little better

    Hey guys-

We have a slight problem. We had two contestants enter their name twice, for some reason. So that means there is one person occupying two teams right now. Teams 27 and 28 each had 13 members, while the rest had only 12. So I am going to need to shift a member of your team to another. If anyone is willing to move teams, please let me know. Or, if you'd rather me just move someone from the list who hasn't checked in, I can do that too.

I hate to do this, but this would actually give 27 of the 28 teams (Team 6 still has 10 for now) exactly 12 members. Let me know what you want to do.

Not to jinx myself, but I should be good for a 50 at least. I'm lettin' loose on the first doe that presents a shot. Then the big buck quest will really start.

I just got my camera back out, and I'm hoping to track down this bladed 10 from last year. He should look nice with another year on him.

Of course, the beast still haunts my dreams, but gives me hope of what the north woods can produce...

Last year I put up a 50 with a doe, and the year before I racked up 180+ with a doe and Count Chocula...

All in all, I'm feeling pretty good about this upcomming season :tu:

Team 28 is going to be a force to reckon with!

Jerry here! The first buck killed is the 1 that counts right? So unless theres a big 1 steps in front of me here in Mo. it will be Oct. before I shoot a buck, because I know of 2 150 plus bucks in Nebraska I will be chasing. I will know this weekend when the corn will be coming down. But I Know I can put a doe down early!!! I have not read all the other teams posts but it sounds like we have a good team to win this thing!!!
