No bears in my neck of the woods. I did see my first bobcat last week behind the house. Hope to get a pic of him/her.

O I was extremely excited to see bears on my camera, even more so when I saw one running down the road on the way out, just stinks that he had to beat my camera up so I couldn't get any other pictures. I would have been more upset had I left the camera up till season without checking it though lol

I've drew out for Cookson a few times. I live 30 mins from there. Last year I think was the first year they started letting archery in there. Thats where I was referring to there being elk. It's some pretty crazy terrain.

Think you could deal with 110+ degree heat with 95% humidity? Its rough here in the summer time.

Sounds good! The Mindenmines area. Big Cedar is not a place you want to be when it snows, but it is beautiful if you don't want to go anywhere.

I used to hunt around truman and lake of the ozarks on all the corp of engineers public land around the lake but it became to far of a drive for one day hunts when we started haveing kids and also trying to fighting the crowd of hunters out there. There are some good deer out there and bet there are better deer on private land. If you do and ever want to buddy hunt hit me up. Were exactly is it near like city or town? I am about 40 mins from Clinton, MO.

There are some big bucks there. I've killed a few little ones and a bunch of doe! One more I arrowed two doe in about 15 mins. There isn't a town where he lives but camdenton(sp) is 45 mins away on one side and Warsaw is about the same on the other. We went up last summer and built a big four boat dock for his house. Great fishing there also.
