Once again, gotta say it aint looking like it will happen this year.

Not seeing much, and what I have been seeing has been antlerless, if the rumors are true of a biggun running around, I sure can't figure out where he is at.....

sorry it's been a long time since I been to the site. Have hunted a few times, seen about 20 does this year and not a single buck. only killed the one doe in October nothing else in range. Public land sucks. Wish you guys the best for the rest of the year. time to hunt for meat for the rest of the year. I am switching to gun, and got a few rabbit hunts and a pheasant hunt in ohio scheduled to get some food before turkey season. If ya'll have any tips for pheasant I have never hunted them before, we are going on a guided trip. I have a 20 ga mossberg 500 which is my everything shotgun. what are some tips on shooting these birds and what type of shell do I need?

Well my season is officially over, I found a fresh shed in my hunting area. Iv already got the freezer filled so anything I were to kill would be more for horns. Not gonna chance killing a good buck who has dropped or who drops when I grab them. Sorry guys. It's been a good year though and I enjoyed being on the team and participating with you guys

Sorry guy's I have not been on here in a while, I have not been able to get out and hunt as much as I wanted too, but with the holidays it got real busy. I did get to take a friend of ours son out for the late youth season for his first hunt ever, We went and shot a couple weeks earlier to get him use to the gun and he did real good. So we get to the blind about 6:30 and go over everything and right at 7:00 am a nice doe comes in at 30 yards and we get ready and he is just not comfortable so she leaves and i asked him what was wrong and he said he just wasnt comfortable so i move the chairs out of the way so we were not crowded and get repositioned and 30 minutes later a nice 9 pointer i had on camera comes in with his head to the ground following everywhere the doe had been and after stopping him 4 times he gets a shot off at 50 yards and with my ears ringing i thought i could hear him fall just outside the fields edge but we wait for an hour before we go look and sure enough he is laying just outside the field 20 yards from where he shot him! As we were celebrating I told him now he has to spend some money mounting him and he was nothing but smiles. Needless to say I did not get to hunt the rest of the day like planned, we had to get back to town and show his Grandpa his deer. The bad news that has been the only nice buck i have had in shooting range but i will be back out this weekend trying to add some more points. He would have been a 11 pointer but he had broke off 1 of his double browe tine and a little kicker off of his base the trail camera has him with everything so i am going to get it framed for him. Hopefully we can pull this off but it is coming to a close very fast it was really nice beeing on this team and i sure wish the top 2 teams could stay together! Good luck everyone!

I'm headed out tomorrow for whats probably going to be my last bow hunt of the season. I have an either sex tag and some room in the freezer, so anything decent is getting it :)

We guys went out west this weekend. Had a chance to add 50 points an missed the shot. She ducked an the arrow went an inch or two over her back! It was fun being on a team with you guys! Wish we could have won this thing!

No GTG for me. 10 hour drive and it's on the weekend I work. Hopefully one of these years I can make it.

its worth every hour of the drive button.
the camp ground get packed up with a lot of the guys and a range is set up to shoot.
good camp fires everyday great food everyone pitches in cooking and bringing stuff.
The shoot at the club is fun but the camp ground is really the best part.
