I have been out a few times here in Maine. I have yet to see a deer. Midwest hunting has ruined the hunting at home for me. Heading out shortly.

Awesome room. My hunting room is the bonus room without ac or heat. It is also storage for my wife's crafts and daughters toys. Need some deer like that to get a better argument.
I have a finished room in the basement for my "stuff". My wife was upset that I chose knotty pine walls for the room before I informed her that it was going to be my mancave. I am trying to add some more heads but not having much luck. My 6 yo daughter wants me to add a mommy deer to the wall.
Also trying to add one of these to the wall as well, cant seem to get them to come in during daylight.

Its not looking good for me getting a buck. I have tomorrow morning and then maybe a day or two in the expanded zone and thats it. I did take my daughter out with me for a little while this afternoon. She did not last long, but it was still fun

Well I am back from the holiday hope everybody had a good thanks giving. Did a little hunting down in OK trying to get me brother-in-law his first deer but we saw nothing. Hope to get in the woods agian here back home I only have 1 anydeer tag left but I am waiting for a nice buck as my freezer is all filled up. Goodluck to everybody that is still hard at it.
Well guys I hope you all had happy thanksgiving. Iv been doing some rifle hunting with my family this week. Seeing a lot of deer, mostly does and small bucks. Only saw one mature buck It's a huge forked horn with 1 inch brow tines. I pulled the jaw and aged him at 5.5. It's a neat rack and I was more than excited to have the chance to harvest such an old buck, from the ground, at less than 50 yards
This is a big Old fork horn that I tried to get for 3 years last year a guy got him with his shotgun and threw out the rack
