    One of these days I hope to make a archery trip but for now I'm just wanting to rifle hunting. I imagine the archery season is a bit different what with the bulls bugling and not having been pressured as much as later in the season. Not as cold either il bet

    Not near as cold and it's hit or miss they usually start bugleing about the third week in sept. Coolest thing is sleeping under a tarp on top of a mountain listening to them bugle all night long. You should def try a archery hunt one year.

    Another hour and a half and will be at the motel up by 5 and be in the tree all day and all day sits Saturday and Sunday so wish me luck! Good luck to everyone hunting this weekend!

    I didn't see a thing last night. I'm going to a winery this evening for a bday party (not my idea) so I'm not hunting again until Sat. Good luck out there!

    Also, headed back to Illinois from wednesday-sunday next week...probably my best chance of the year to get some bone on the ground...will keep you fellas posted.

    Just a guess, but I'd say its gonna take a minimum 1,000 inches/pts to win this year. It's only Nov 2 and many teams are over 500. It's about to get crazy :D

    Awesome job atlas! Great story, I can't imagine how it felt to take a buck of that caliber on your own ground. Congrats buddy

    Chirp chirp chirp. Crickets are going crazy in here. Anybody been out hunting? Il be getting out for my first bowhunt since the first week in October if all goes as planned tomorrow.

    Bucks have been seeking and a few does are coming in. Actually have been for a week or more. Il be hunting new property but maybe I can get on one

    Goodluck out there tomorrow. My weekend off these last three days an I've been laid up sick! Sucks but I'm gonna hit the stand Wednesday an Thursday this week and see what happens.
