I am in a tree in maine, but it is 63 degrees out. I am at my parents house sitting over a patch of clover and hay, just off a picked corn field. Opening day of gun season so yhe deer should be pushed around a bit

Hey fellas, shot a doe two nights ago but have a question about the rules...here is the deal...as I was trailing her I got word that one of the guys I was hunting with had shot a stud. So I hurried, snapped one pic with my bow in it, and got her loaded up. The rest of the night was spent high-fiving and telling the story of the buck. I cleaned her before I even thought about taking another pic. No points, I assume?

Ah, well, as you say, now worries. For what it is worth, here is the buck I put my uncle on. This was the first time he ever hunted out of the state of alabama...this was his biggest buck by 50ish inches and probably by 75 lbs. About 6 hours after he killed the buck, he looked at me with this big cheesy grin and said "you know, its just now sinking in what i've gone and done." 5.5+ year old buck with not great genetics but really maxed out what he had. 7.5" bases and scored just under 145. You really had to put your hands on him to appreciate how big he was.

Congrats Z7! I finally had a buck come by me last night. Problem was, it was while I was pulling my bow rope up to the stand lol. It was about 100 incher, he didn't stick around long but didn't seem to notice I was even around. I'll be in the stand again after work, looking for the big 6pt I've been seeing.

Good job on putting some deer down guys! Iv been out of town on an elk hunt in Colorado the past 2 weeks. No luck out there although I did see some nice muleys I didn't have a deer tag. Now that I'm back my hunting will be kind of sparse until after rifle season due to the area I hunt being closed down

got his very first deer last night when we were out. I cant even tell you how proud I am of him and the hard work he has put in.
He just decided 6 months ago to start hunting and last night it all came together for him.
