Just a few more days till opening season in KS...but also just a few more days until baby comes. Hoping that I get one day before she comes, but if not, hunting will be pretty sparse until I take a few days in November.

Congrats on the baby. I wouldn't worry about hunting to much if I was in your place. Nothing better than having a little one running around. Will she be your first one? Or already have kids?

1st one! We are so excited. Trust me, hunting is taking an enormous backseat this year...but I wouldn't have signed up for the contest if I didn't think I would at least put a slickhead down. My wife and I both know well enough that hunting keeps me sane...If I can get one day in before my long weekend in november I will be happy. Should get a few sits in over thanksgiving and a few more during christmas...

Pics will go up soon after the delivery!

Ok guys I need all of you to chime in on this.
There have been a few issues with other teams about the pics required.
So what I am suggesting is that anyone on our team that gets a deer posts the pics and info on our thread first. Once we have seen it and all agreed that it is according to the rules then we will post it on the scorecard.
I know this seems like more work but I just want to have fun and not have the drama on our thread.
If need be and you all want I can be the one to post the pics and info on the offical scorecard for our team after they are posted to our thread. Please let me know what all of you think

The first year my little one was born I didn't hardly hunt at all. Last year I got to go a lot more. He turned 2 in may of this year and is an absolute blast now! There's nothing better. Take lots of pics an enjoy every bit. They really do grow fast.

Hey mike good luck with your cameras. The guy next to my property said he has a 12 point with 2 drop tines on camera. He said he would show them to me so I still kinda wonder but there is hope. My season starts this Sat. So I know your feeling.

Well fellas I pulled a cam today that had been sitting on a water hole. Only had it out for 3 days, but got worried about it growing legs over the weekend. Had around 550 pictures of deer, mostly does and fawns, but I did have 6 bucks. 2 spikes, 3 younger bucks, and 1 mature buck. Only problem is that almost everything was in the middle of the night. I am gonna leave the place alone and hit it opening evening and hope for the best
