ok so here it goes.....about 1 hour ago i was driving down my gravel road to my house after visiting my dad, as i was driving down the road i have a small cut in one of my field where i can look for deer and as i went my the cut at about 15-20 mph THERE HE STOOD!!!! middle of the day...i took my phone out and backed up and took a picture of him ...he was 150 yards away so the pic looks horable and you can barley tell its a buck.....my first glance at this deer when i drove by was OMG there was a mule deer, he is so old and gray he really looked like a mule deer....so i got a picture and pulled out my binos because you never know when ull NEED THEM!!!! The best i would tell i have a 180+ inch typical 12 pointer living smack dap in the middle of my 350 achar farm....this deer is so old that his ears droop downward ....like i said the pic was taking with my phone and is horable BUT i have 3 cuddyback cameras set out in his area know so im hopin and praying i get pictures of him.

Hey man thanks for the offer, and I just may take you up on it.

Holy smokes those are some nice deer. And I can't even imagine a 268 pound deer. The couple iv killed that went in the #180 pound range were tough to drag but geez! 268 pounds? WOW

well Guys i say 180+ because i really think he will be closer to the 200 mark ....but honestly 99 out of 100 ppl who say they seen a 200" deer i dont belive...did they see a nice deer yes was it 200" no it was really a 150. there is more to this story than i told ....this happend around 2 pm today well around 3 pm i took my binos and cuddybacks out to where i seen him well .....like a fool i should of waited but he bedded down 10 yards to the right in the picture in a fence roll. i got 20 yards from him before he seen me (and i seen him) and got up and ran about 40 yards and stoped to look at me for a GOOD 15 sec. Guys i got a good look at this deer...i have seen alot of 160-180 " deer ....and none of them got my heart going like this but .....as soon as i get pics ill post them. I think today i seen my first 200" deer BUT i could be wrong....but god guys he is one beautiful buck .deff my # one for this year....BTW did i mention i think this guy lives 300yard from my house....i just never put cameras there...lol well i will deff keep you guys up to day

Man that is some nice deer! Good luck on getting 1 of them. Boy it is hard staying on the front page. I should know this weekend if i get the lease on the 300 acres i looked at this week, theres a 40 on it that looks really good but he is not sure if it will go with it, not sure if it would be a deal breaker but the price would have to drop quite a bit if it don't go with it. Running out of time fast, If it is a go we will have some stands and cameras hung this weekend.

Our expanded archery season starts tomorrow, i might be able to get out in the afternoon, depending on when i get home from my sons football game. I have a couple of spots in our expanded zone, but i have put no work in scouting. Will be nice just to sit in a tree.
