I'm like a lot of guys in that I don't get an enormous amount of resident buck pix throughout the season, but I get lots of travelers, especially during the rut because I have lots of resident does. this young, 10 point was one of the first that caught my eye this year. from the looks of the antler bulbs, he's about finished growing and will end up being a short-tined 10. he's plenty wide though with only average mass. he'll get a pass by me more than likely, although the neighbors will take him if given the chance, so his survival is a crap shoot. this 8 point has plenty of mass and tine length, but he never raised his head in the pic series for a better perspective. I suspect he's a buck I had pix of and a few encounters with last year. one of the encounters was him and 2 other bucks his size (brothers?) being chased by a pack of dogs. I have plenty of other randomness to share but nothing extraordinary...
Sadly we dont have any camera's out at this time. Have been super busy this summer with moving and some other things. May run out to the plot close to home and check it out, and place a camera or 2 out. But we normally have a few good bucks on camera's. here are a few from the past years
Hey fellas, my name is David & I'll be hunting out of Northern IL as well as Wisconsin if I get the opportunity. I have a couple of shooters on camera. I'll try my best to contribute and keep this thread alive.
This is my target buck from last year. Never saw him and got very few pictures of him. Hope to catch him on his feet come October. Here are some youngsters from last year.
Blackstrap boys SBD - silent but deadly The grunt group They all sound corny & they all seem so cliche & overused
I figured I'd contribute my one suggestion. I'm good with the majority. The name won't matter, we just need to dethrone the reigning champs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
