At 11 when it started sleeting is when they started running crazy. At one point I was having a hard time deciding which buck I should be watching! They were sure locked in on the real thing though. I could not turn any bucks with grunting yesterday. It was frustrating.

It's been a slow year for me with no mature bucks on camera. Finally something worth chasing after.

Saw 10 does tonight, missed two of them.

Also had 2 trail cameras stolen.

Its been that kind of year for me.

I don't have another day off until Thanksgiving. I'm planning to take my rifle out Sunday morning to put some meat in the freezer.

I hate to hear that kind of stuff about stolen items. I hear ya on the "that kind of season" part. I have seen doe, fawns and small bucks. Nothing mature at all while on stand. I've only drawn my bow back once and passed on everything small.

I will at least be able to smack a doe for 50 pts. Hoping to get a late season buck somewhere over food when it's real cold. I have until Jan 31st here.

Yesterday was a bust. Saw 0 deer from the stand which is unusual. Considering all the rutting activity last weekend, it was HIGHLY unusual unless they are all locked down. i would have expected to at least see a few cruisers. the rut certainly cant just be OVER like that! Today is overcast with potential showers... Maybe that will help
