The property I can hunt is off of Country School Road. It is a 5 acre estate that I was allowed to hunt as long as the neighbor's home was vacant. It is no longer vacant (boo-hoo). Truthfully Jason it never felt like deer hunting to me. The one time I did hunt the property I spent an hour before the "magic" hour watching and listening to a couple of kids playing in a backyard. There are definitely some bruisers that live in that wooded neighborhood!

Yeah, I remember shooting a deer one year while the kids were on the trampoline 100 yards down the hill. The shot was not in the direction of the kids and I did move from the stand that was 40 yards from the trampoline 30 minutes before shooting the deer:)

Fergus also shot a deer out of the tree house that was 20 yards from the trampoline, one of my most memorable hunts ever.

The way things have come together (or fallen apart) this year I will most likely talk to the owner again to see if I can hunt his YARD. But, knowing that Fergus has hunted this area I might have to reconsider!!!

I'm gonna be limited to hunting weekends only this year and will not be able to take my usual two or three week vacation so I'm shooting the first doe that walks in front of me.

That is key right there. I've seen and been part of too many teams over the years on other websites and buck contests where the winners won by less than 50 points. If all of us Team 27'ers can just tag an antlerless deer we are well on our way to repeating. The bucks will come for some of the team members. I have never been part of a buck contest where all of the team members tagged a buck. It would sure be nice, but as we all know it can be a rather difficult task.

Sounds good I just hope everyone is out of there if it's where we tracked that deer last year.
If so you will do very well.
