My season officially ended today and unfortunately i just couldnt get a nice buck for the team. I pulled my four cameras Sunday afternoon and there wasn't a shooter buck on any of them, lots of does and 1.5 and 2.5 year old bucks and that was it. No idea where all the bucks from this summer went to. My dad had off work today so we got to hunt a little together which we don't get to do very often, so we decided to try a couple pushes which can be darn difficult with the bow. The first push we did, I had a doe come past, but she wouldnt stop in my shooting lane. 5 minutes after her, this nubber came through and again wouldnt stop in the shooting lane but stopped at 30 yards just beyond it. For some reason he turned broadside with the tinyest of windows and I put an arrow through the top of the heart. No matter how big or small, it was a ton of fun to get him working together with my father. Awesome end to the season.

That's awesome man! Always a good time when we can hunt with family. Dad and I went out Christmas morning and had a blast. He got his first deer of the season at about 7:20am. He was walking on air the rest of the day :D Heading out with little brother in about an hour to see what we can do on some public land, then again on Saturday on private land. Haven't seen anything other than spikes and forkies this season. Don't know what happened to all the big boys. They aren't even on camera at nite. Took camera down yesterday. It had 0 pics in last 45 days :(

Congrats to your dad! I'd trade a lot of deer to be with my dad on a successful hunt

Best wishes guys in the new year!

I have some points to add to our team points as I got a buck about 1.5 weeks ago. With the holidays, travelling, sick family, travelling, work and travelling I have not had much time to get on the 'net for personal reasons. I'm at work right now, but when I get a chance at home (probably this weekend) I will submit the photos and measurement. Haven't put a tape measure to him yet, but I would guess around 110". He will not help us get into 3rd place.

    Again...have a happy new year!

    Mike

Tony, you crack me up!! Had the biggest buck I've ever seen on the hoof run by me yesterday. I couldn't get him to stop for anything. What a magnificent creature! At least I know they aren't all dead now.

Good luck Peak. I'd like it that fat lady would sit on PT's head.

We're waiting on a buck to get entered and if I get a doe and something happens with jas and tom we could be right there.
