I'm going out this afternoon with xbow. Going out with the intention of shooting this big ol doe to donate. The only bucks I've seen this year are spikes and forkies. I'm just about to take one and at least get the 50 pts
Should be out tomorrow morning for what could be my last hunt of the year. Hoping to put a tag on a doe, but we will see what walks out. still have a buck tag left. Also plan to put out my winter minerals.
Nothing but squirrels! Until I was about 1/4 mile from home that is. Four does standing 10 yrds off side of road. Figures :/
My hunting area is calling for 10-15 inches of snow. I have off next week the 26th-30th, i have 4 cameras out right now just waiting to tell me where a nice buck is at. The fat lady hasn't even warmed up yet.

I know where a decent buck is bedded on our property but I'm not sure how he is traveling. Hoping the snow gives me the answer, plan to be back out Friday morning if the wind isn't too crazy.
PT, you of all people should know it just isn't fun until the last week of competition. We waited until the last to beat you guys last year. We want everyone to feel they really did good

Merry Christmas to everyone!! We're doing our family Christmas stuff tomorrow, so Dad and I are going out hunting Christmas morning. Sure hope Santa sends a buck with a decent rack to me. All I've seen this year are spikes and forkies. If all the forkies I've seen this year survive 2 or 3 more years, we should be good to go around here!
