Foot is feeling better today. I skipped going to the immediate care yesterday and opted for my own medication. So numerous Grey Goose and cranberries later seemed to help! Truthfully, I think the real help was getting off of my foot as the hole is directly under the ball of my foot.

If this nasty weather clears out tomorrow afternoon I will be back in the stand big buck hunting! Good luck to any of you out there this weekend. Tony, we are supposed to have a break in the thunderstorms this afternoon. That might be a good time to be in a tree between storms!

well got out this morning, but nothing was moving in the rain.... skipped the nite hunt due to weather. Hoping the rain is light or done by tomorrow morning.

I didn't hunt tonight due to the weather, too. I'm hoping to get out in the morning, as long as the weather cooperates. Goin out to a buddies spot tomorrow afternoon, hopefully we can double up on does.

Nope, there was a downpour and it rained most of the morning until 8:30. Might go out in the afternoon.

I didn't see nothing except trucks four wheeling it on the property right next to me.

I am gonna try to get out Thursday morning and afternoon. Now that I am down to two properties, things are a lot harder. I'm having to start from scratch. One property, the landowner just took the cows off, so the deer haven't moved back in yet. I'm just now starting to get a couple does on cam, but they are there like every 3 or 4 days. The other property is a huge bean field, and it's impossible to hunt the mornings without spooking everything around.

I'm heading to scout a new spot tho weekend, but it's 2.5 hours away. I don't know what kind of potential there is, I think it is just a huge alfalfa field with hardly any trees. Might have to make me a hay bale blind.

Has everyone fallen into a coma recently or something? I'll be getting out again this weekend. Been seeing lots of does when I'm out, now if the bucks would just start their early seeking phase I might be able to put some more points on the board. Good luck to everybody. Keep the points rollin in, we need a repeat :D

Yeah, I've been busy since taking the doe last week. Work is crazy right now. I don't mind the hours, but when I only get paid for 8 hours/day it sucks to work 14.5 hours like yesterday! Today was only 11 so it is getting better.

Has not been much movement around here from the guys I've been talking to. Nobody has been seeing bucks larger than 1.5 yr olds around here. I have not even seen any driving the last week or so. Even though I don't believe in the October "lull", but this might just be the Oct lull!

Hoping to get out tomorrow and/or Friday evening. This weekend AGAIN is too freakin' busy so probably will not be getting out again this weekend.

    Good luck guys!

    Mike

I am going to try and get out this afternoon, brave this wind. It's supposed to stay near 30mph all day and 20mph overnight. We will see if anything is moving.
