Got a 4day weekend. Hoping to get in a few hunts. Haven't really been getting any bucks on camera lately, but maybe they will come around with the cooler weather

Good luck guys! Will be bowhunting Friday afternoon and then taking one of my sons out for the WI Youth hunt Sat & Sun. Should be way better this year than last year when it was about 80 degrees out! Maybe I will get lucky Friday and beat you guys to the 200 inch club...just a thought :)

Good luck out there guys. I have family stuff (read: kids) all weekend so please tag a couple so I can read about your success on here!

Made it out this AM before work briefly and for some frickin' reason I got busted again! Hunted another property than Monday PM. Right at first light I had a doe and fawn come in behind me from the river. I have NEVER had or seen a deer that direction and I have hunted that land for 25 years this year! They came in behind my tree to about 12 yds and she caught my scent stream. They were north of me and we had a light south wind. If she would have taken about 2 more steps I had her as I was full drawn and just waiting for her to clear from behind my tree. WTF?? At least I have seen deer on nearly every sit this season. It is early in the season so I am sure it will happen eventually.

Don't worry Rizzo, you will have to get your tighty whiteys and AC/DC shirt wet again this year

Being that the temps have gone up for this afternoon, I think I'll grab a stand and sticks and head down the creek to a spot my brother and I scouted a while back. Good creek crossing with well-worn path. Nice tree right on the edge of it. Maybe I can catch a Booner comin in for a drink :)

Hey there, those were boxers....not tighty whiteys!

The AC/DC shirt was on me when I hit and lost the buck a couple of weeks ago. I'm burning that shirt now. BTW, I have $$$$ on you to get to the 200 point club first this year on our team...then WIBOWHTR.....then Peak. Ya'll will make it, but that is my prediction for order.

Just heard a bobcat scream, that was pretty cool. Never heard that from the stand before.

I will finally get out Saturday. I plan to hunt the same stand I have hunted the last two years on my first sit if the wind is right since the Corn is still up. If I see a doe within 40 yards she is eating dirt:rock:

    Good luck Jas!

I got out to my parents place pretty late yesterday so I went to my observation point and had 4 deer
out in front of my stand. All of them were right where I shot my buck. I will be there this afternoon about 3pm
    Stay Tuned!

I sat a new stand last night and could just see food plot through the woods. I watched 3 does feed for a bit then walk right past my normal stand. Guess I should have stuck with old faithful :(

Looks like I might have the wrong pick to get to the 200 point level first on our team this year! Good luck Tony. Definitely cooler out there today. Going to get out of work around 3 (hopefully earlier) and take my climber to an area I have never hunted. It might be more of an observation evening, but there should be plenty of early movement with the moon underfoot (if you believe in the crap) and the cooler than normal temps.

Yeah... I won't be able to get out until Sunday morning. I would hunt this afternoon, but I have a gastroscopy this afternoon and I have a feeling that I'm going to be feeling pretty good the rest of the day

Good luck to everyone getting out!
