Thanks everyone for the kind words regarding re-acquiring access to that property. This is the first year that I have not placed any cams on that piece of property, but I know of 2 big bucks (neighbors estimate 165"-180") that made it thru the winter. I watched one of them last year during a doe gun hunt for about 5 minutes tear up a few trees or at least I believe it was one of those two. I would just like to get within bow range of one of them before they are poached by the locals. Now it is time to get some points on that board and defend OUR title. Tony, can you post that code for the discount on our team page also when you get it. Once the season starts I rarely get on the other forum boards here on BH.com.
Just acquired 60 acres to hunt with a buddy of mine that the owner hasn't allowed hunting on it for the last 3 years. Hopefully will find some good sign to hunt.
That is awesome Rizzo, glad to hear good things about the land. Tom, hope you can get some great film and get a monster down. Good Luck in ND. I think we have a really great shot at this guys! it seams like everyone is ready for the season. I know i can't wait for Oct 1st!
Good luck Team 27! You guys rocked last year and I am sure you will again. I am sure you folks will have the same great deer shot by your team again. Unfortunately it will not be good enough as Team 16 is up and coming underdogs that will end up taking the lead. Just saying... Talk to you soon! PS: Tom, I would say good luck, but with all that chances and places you are hunting again................... You know I said it with out saying it.
Have you guys seen Capt PT's new Avatar for his team Silent But Deadly? talk about setting it up on a
I got 2 new cams I will be putting out sometime this week if I dont over sleep. My hours changed so I get off at 7am instead of 8am and for some damn reason I'm sleeping later now.
Going to the bow club this morning to get my new HHA sight dialed in for my hunting bow. Had it shooting x's at the shop at 20 last night so have to get 40 dialed in and then it is good to go. Also pulled out the Alphamax and the first three shots were in or hitting the x ring so I put it back in the case. On my way home I will run by the hunting spot to take a quick look at things. I will only be hunting weekends this year due to a new job so the first doe I see is coming home with me
Looks like my season will kick off one day later than I thought. Justin has had a fever of up to 103 every day since Sunday. I was going to leave at 5AM this morning and hunt tonight but now I wont be leaving until later this afternoon when my wife gets home.
