Hey everybody I'm Benny_Bucks from northern Illinois. I'm really looking forward to hunting this fall as I've got some nice bucks on a hitlist that I know made it through to this year just haven't got them on camera yet with the corn being up. I'm 22 years old and attend Northern Illinois University but I am student teaching this fall so I'll be a weekend warrior and whenever I can slip out of school in a timely fashion to the stand. If you'd like to add me on Facebook you can find at Ben Reibel, Twitter/Instagram: B_reibs22 I look forward to hearing from you all and getting to talk to all of you! Bow Hunt or Die! Hey guys I'm Fix out of NY. I will be hunting almost everyday and I'm good for a doe. But I'll be hunting the same buck as I have for the last 3 years.
My name is Josh (Enlow for the Facebookers) and I will be hunting SW Ohio for the sixth year. I hunt a handful of private properties ranging from 5 to 50 acres. I usually get some awesome bucks on camera, but the big boys still elude me during season. Let's hope that changes this year!
I'm Collin from NY (Cml5895 for those with Instagram). This 2018 season will be the least amount of time to hunt in my life, but I am by far the most prepared I have ever been. Already have vacation time on the schedule for 10/31 to 11/4, which are by far the most productive days in the past, weather permitting. I think as long as we can have everyone stay active on this forum and entering their points, we could definitely compete! I look forward to sharing my season with you guys.
Hey All- My name is Joe I am from East Central Illinois. I mainly hunt a small tract here in my home county and also a larger piece of property down in SE Indiana. Besides weekend hunts I will also be taking a week off in beginning of November and possibly December to try to get a couple deer on the ground. I have been participating in this contest for several years now and really enjoy it.
Hi All Captn Kirk---- Kirk from central Virginia checking in getting ready to plant the fall micro plots I mostly hunt my small setup 24 ac mostly hard wood in the suburbs on weekends and the last week of October and the first week or two of November. Last year of work interfering with my hunting.
Good to hear from everybody so far! Just need a few of our team members to check in I'll send messages out to them.
I've been making a list of possible team names as they come to mind. Don't judge me...I know I'm a nerd! Silent but Deadly Lockdown Legends Scrape Stalkers Scrape Snipers It's DEER:30 Somewhere Phase V License to Kill Buckflix & Kill Brown & Down Main Beam Mafia Gut Shot Gurus Puck Feta! I think once everyone checks in we should pick a capt. Last year we had everyone say if they were interested in capt. I'll start, I am not. I was last year and will if need dictates but rather not
Hey Gentlemen, OkieArrowSlinger checking in I’m Andy, from Central Oklahoma and I hunt about 80 acres of private land where I’m the only person hunting there. Last year was my first year in the contest and we ended up placing 3rd and had a blast! I recognize a several names here, looks like a solid group! Looking forward to getting after it and getting to know all of you guys.
Hey guys, Joey Barrett here. I'm excited for this season. First week of October I am headed from Kansas to Western Oklahoma where I'm going to be going after mule deer and whitetails for a week. As already stated I'll be hunting Kansas where I live. Then in November I'm headed to my parent's farm where I grew up in Southeastern Ohio to hunt for a week. Pretty fortunate to be able to hunt three states this year. Last year I shot my first buck from a ground blind. Here's the video. I was a stuttering and stammering fool in the video. I originally thought he was a bigger buck that I had seen in the same area the week before. Once I recovered him I realized it wasn't him and in the video I wrongly assumed his identity again. There was a two year old running that property that looked very similar but had 9 points not 8.and was a little smaller than the buck I actually shot. I think he was a three old, judge for yourselves. Pretty happy with him. Enough about me, looking forward to getting to know all you guys through the season. -Joey
