You and me both with the late night out. Pretty sure I had two bucks about 40 yards out before sunrise then they left. 23 degrees here this morning they should move again

No deer this morning. I pulled the cam card and got pics of everybody except the buck I hit. Hmm...maybe another search is in order this week.

No deer for me either once the sun came up. Pulled the card and everything is nocturnal. Predator problem I have may be the cause. Had something new show up on cam yesterday morning as well STC_0587.JPG

Well boys I passed a personal test tonight. I had my no shoot buck young bull at 26 yards and didn't even grab my bow. I know we could use the 120ish points but he has the genetics to be a effin monster. Can't get big of you kill them while they are small. Sorry I didn't take a closer pic...i had to go dark once he was down wind 20181021_175612.jpeg

In the stand for the first time! Sitting on a tree line that connects to a block of timber to my south. Stand is overlooking a cut bean field with a cut corn field just to the north where the tree line ends.
It's pretty windy out with with coming out of the west at about 15mph

Great hunt Troy! I was thinking about the coyote problem you had last year but I wasn't sure if it was the same farm. Do you guys predator hunt out there at all?

I did it. I did it. I did it. Very happy with this buck, he was one I was hoping to see. Not gonna give us much in the points department but a doe is in my near future!
