    Another sit another 1 deer. Except I would have shot this one. Main frame 9 with a split g2 on his right side. 120's class. Never offered me a shot. Shopping with the wife now. Doubt I'll make it back out this evening.

    Might be sick Friday morning and have a decent hunt. Saturday is pretty much a wash for me. Sunday may have to be an all day sit. I’ll still be bow hunting during the gun season in Illinois the following weekend.

    Well guys I’m pretty excited! I took off work the next two days and tomorrow will be my first morning hunt of the season. Temps right around freezing, 10 mph N wind, rut just starting to pick up, should be interesting. Going in blind, haven’t hunted out of this stand yet this year, didn’t even hang a camera there but it’s the most secluded setup I’ve got and I’ve stayed out of there. It’s going to be impossible to get in there quietly so I’m going to get out extra early so I can really take my time getting in.

    Well, I couldn't resist. I am blowing in the rest of the day after a C Call until around 11, and used my hubby points to skip a charity dinner tonight. I'm going for it. I have a few Cull bucks that might get a arrow, if none of my shooters come by.
    It's time boys, when the game is on the line leaders want the ball.

    So.... It's time to put the women and children to bed and go looking for dinner!

    Crazy story though... He came through hunched up and one of the 2.5 that I wanted killed for the gene pool... It was kismet
    After I got him I found he had a hole already
