at this point you should be hunting every chance you get. doesn't matter what time. unlike me stuck at work pulling 14 hour days. i'm going to be so tired by the end of the week i'll be napping in the stand.
Guys I’ll keep this short. Last week my soon to be 3 year old said “ you hunt too much daddy”. That right there has been playing on my mind all week. I have passed some bucks lately waiting on the big one but they’ll be there next year. This guy came to a grunt after I heard a few grunts over the ridge. He gave me several perfect shots and I just went for it. I think he is down over the ridge so I’ll give it a little time. Still will try to get a doe but need to invest time at home. Congrats man! Nice 8 pt! I think that is going to kick start this team! There will be multiple big bucks hit the ground for us over the next 3-4 days! I’m going to be hunting my a$$ off this weekend and am going to try and get off work early tomorrow afternoon and hunt as well. The big boys are starting to get dumb, even had 3 new shooters show up this last week! $hit is about the get real boys!
I slept in and helped get the kids ready for school. Now I'm in a blind, avoiding the wet and windy conditions. Somebody has to cruise by in the next 8 hours...

It was raining pretty good this morning so I stayed in with the family. Getting ready to grab a hot meal and then head out. Mist and rain is supposed to stop around 3 so hoping for some awesome action. At this point I am starting to get kind of desperate.
