Hoping to get out of work early today and start a hard weekend of hunting supposed to be in the thirties both Saturday and Sunday if any of the big boys are up and moving!

I am hoping to get out Saturday night. Was going to hunt Sunday but the highs jump up into the low 70's. On the plus side the doe restriction is gone so I can hopefully have a shot at one of them.
I just have to check to see if the farmer will be in the fields around my spot Saturday afternoon. That would ruin it for me in that particular area.

Well boys I had a nice sit, 3 doe only but it was relaxing. Here in NY the pressure has been steadily rising and it is forecasted to be low 30s and sunny with little to no wind in the morning. I'm going to sneak in a tough but lucrative spot about a hr early and see what's happens.

One of my friends called in a panic last night and told me he a buck on the road headed back to wisconsin. I said well...how big? He sent me pictures and I showed them to my best friend and we jumped in the truck to go grab him. Boy am I glad we did! This guy was all palmated and had paddles for antlers. Easily the biggest bodied deer I’d ever seen probably over 300 live weight. Incredible deer! I’m going to have the processor weigh it today for me. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Hell yeah it is! I’ll be doing a euro on him. We talked for a long time about a shoulder mount but I didn’t feel like I should since I didn’t shoot it

I spooked something coming in but it's the most quiet morning I have ever sat. 0 wind.
Put the women and children to bed and go looking for dinner.

I got in undetected. All settled in over an hour before light. They cut the beans this week so we’ll see how it goes

He’s a clean 289 inches! Remember I said I wanted a deer with a mass measurement of 5 in plus

Well it worked again.... Saying that is my mantra. Just crushed a Doe to use my transfer tag. 10 ringed her at 10 yards but she ran 20 yards stood there for 15 mins then walked away.
I could see the wound and it was perfect and shiz hanging out of the exit as well.

had two big bodied bucks walk by before legal light one made a scrape and the other rubbed a tree I don't have a camera in the area so I can't confirm who they were but I have my game plan for tonight should be a good sit! also had 7 turkeys and a doe fawn come walking by.

I ended up seeing 6 does...nobody in range. The property is covered in scrapes, so I hung a cam on one.

Tomorrow morning I will be hunting the farm with 2000 acres. I’m headed out there now for a quick scout and to talk about where I should go

Well boys I retrieved her and I'm back in the stand at 100% buck mode.

Who's gonna be the first to get one for us
