Absolutely it’s a huge relief! I was terrified what the outcome could’ve been. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
By the looks of his cam pics, he’s hunting some big ones!! I don’t want to jinx him on numbers but I hope he’s in the right place at the right time.
Had a close call this morning! just needed the doe to be about 15 yards closer and I would have shot! also pulled cameras and found no bucks but a nice family of trespassers!
What do you guys do for shooting lanes? The last couple years I’ve been trimming as little as possible if not anything and I think it’s comforting the deer somewhat. As little a change as I can have in the woods from what they see everyday helps a ton in my eyes. I’m not sure if I would’ve shot my buck last year if he knew I was there and cleared the area out for a perfect shot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have both. If I'm in the nasty, I'll cut 5-7 pie plate holes in 360. If I have great back drop and micro plot in front of me I'll cut a huge lane. I have 10 stands in transition to food plots so I'm in the open.
I don't cut, but I mostly have ladder stands that won't go in a super bushy tree. I only have 3 good arrows left. Looking at the Zombie Slayers. Nothing like waiting until the last minute...
I looked at those but decided to go smaller for weight and punch. But if I was going standard they were my choice.
