Won’t be a lack of trying on my end. The owners son really screwed up the hunting last year on us. Nothing I can do but keep at it. There are some good bucks around but they stay just out of reach. Hope this year is different. This is a great team. Okie was on here a lot hope he come back soon!
I think we can! As long as everyone can put a doe down that alone will put us in the running. I should be able to hunt more than last year now that I don't have a newborn to worry about. Also finding my buck in a timely manner after I shoot it will also help things out. Still mad I was not able to contribute points from him last year but that is how it goes sometimes. Should be a good year I just hope everyone comes back. Are we missing anyone so far?
I’ll reach out to guys we haven’t heard from in a while. I’ll send Troy a message not on here since he’s not very active here. I think we can repeat this year. I feel kind of hopeful and optimistic that I have beans at both farms I hunt and that I’ve hardly been in there at all and haven’t even touched one farm Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
i'm still here guys. i've been frantically trying to get my house built so i can get out more. this year i managed to get a bonus doe tag for my unit so i can get a doe closer to home. i have some average bucks on cam but no giants like previous years. hopefully one shows.
My Covert boycott didn't last long. I just found out they make a cam for MossyOak/Wal-Mart and they were on flash sale for $19 tonight. I'll take another chance for twenty bucks.
I'll be checking tomorrow fingers crossed for 20 I'll buy 3 at least... Perfect for property line cameras
Definitely a sign you should stay away from them. I will be down on the farm this weekend hanging some stands and trimming lanes. Hopefully my camera pull will be better than our first one. We checked cams mid august and only had a few young smaller bucks. Typically on our property we have big ones hang out all summer then leave in the fall. Hopefully things are changing and maybe the big ones will show up in the fall.
There are some reports of EHD in some southern Indiana counties. You might want to look around and check things out if your visiting your Indiana property!
