Will be out doing some in season scouting on some public land this weekend . Will be looking for some scrapes / rubs in between bedding areas to get a few extra spots set up for the rut . Won't be out till the following weekend hunting . Good luck guys!

Last night I got it done on my earn a buck doe. Where I now hunt you have to kill a doe first before your allowed to kill one buck.
Yesterday morning was not great so I moved for the evening bow hunt and hunted the same spot I hunted the night before where I had a doe at an oak spot munching on acorns but she was to far to shoot.
Since it was so warm and my camo was covered in sticky burrs and wasnt comfortable I had clean thin material charcoal grey sweat pants in my car so I opted to wear them to hunt in.
I shot her at 6:09 pm. She once again showed up at the same oak tree munching on acorns but she came closer this time. I ranged that tree at 35 yards and when she gave me the shot I took it. I got a heart shot. She ran 25 yards and pilled up.
I already posted her in the scorecard thread for our team :bhod:

Now Im buck hunting:bow: So I have 2 bucks on my camera that are shooters. Bob the buck " because he has a bob tail " is 6.5 or 7.5 yrs old I cant remember " Ya im getting old and forgetful :( Well his rack has gone down hill severly, He would be a trophy to kill for a mature buck that I have been watching and filming him since he was a 2.5 yr old. Here is a cam photo with all 3 photos I got of him one one picture. and this was him 2 yrs ago. And the other buck I can make out 7 points on his right side but cant make out his other side clearly. But he is a shooter.

Unfortunate events came up so I haven’t been in the woods as much as I want to be, but I’ll be back in the woods Friday evening. I have 2 new bucks on camera as of October 2nd and they are both shooters.
I’m aiming for at least a Doe this weekend.

Great job getting those does on the ground everyone. Seems like we have a great team.

As for me, I've been out a couple times but everything hasn't worked out just yet. Working for USPS, sundays are pretty much my only day unless I request otherwise. We have a cold front moving in Monday-Wednesday. I'm going to try to take off Tuesday

Been seeing a ton of trophy does in my area. If i would've been able to get a doe tag would've smoked one. I know for sure though the rut will be amazing in this spot! Got registered to hunt the urban zone so that may be my extra in for a doe tag!

I could not pass up a 140 inch deer!!!I havent had a 140 inch deer on camera ever here in Michigan. If I get the opportunity on that size in Missouri I would have to take it.

I had an amazing hunt the other night team, took my middle son Maddox out for his first ever sit, he is five years old. I ended up connecting on another doe! I have taken two nice mature does on two different properties. My season is off to a great start!! The freezer is stocked, and now I am straight buck hunting. I will be after one in Michigan and one in Missouri, If I can fill each tag it would be a personal best season for me.

Here is the story to the hunt I wrote up on an outdoor page I have on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/BloodRushOutdoors/posts/1722159061422952

Well too bad we can’t enter two does. It was finally my turn to get my dies down and who knew I would do it in the same night. Two mature does in one sit. Unfortunately, it was in a stand that I don’t hunt often and it wasn’t setup well for self filming. It just so happened that both of them came on my offside and I couldn’t film them. I’m still happy with it!
