This will be my third year in the contest. I harvested does my first two years. My husband thinks I'm being too picky because I passed on opportunities to shoot smaller bucks last year. chrisshed.jpg These are the sheds for a buck we call Thriller - I'm seriously hoping to get a shot at him this year. CDYi0035.jpg This is a new buck that showed up at one of our other properties yesterday.

New arrows this year and trying some new vanes. Arrows are heavy and ready to pack a punch on a big Ohio or PA buck!

Those sheds from thriller have some MASS!!! Hopefully you can get some trail camera pictures and then end up putting him on the ground for his final chapter.

Thanks guys, and you also Mr. Tim.

Any other design banners would be great if anyone would like to try to design one for the team. We can then vote on the official banner of the Fall Legends 2013 whitetail season.

I hope this isn't a sign of what is to come. Two posts over a 24 hour period. This is what the team threads look like at the end of the season not the beginning.

I just hope everyone get's that this contest is about getting to know each other, camaraderie and lastly the total points we achieve. Ultimately the measure of success in this contest isn't how many points the team posts on the score card in the end, but rather how much enjoyment you had along the way.

    Agreed!

I have finally got my bow tuned up and some hard hitting arrows to match.

Early September I will be hunting VA in efforts to get a doe on the ground. And then on Oct 5th I will be hunting public land in PA for the first time in my life as the PA bow season opens.

    KILL!

Lets try this again minus user error....

these are the arrows I will be using this year. They weigh in around 450-460 grains with a 125 grain Muzzy up front. I think I need to up the weight of my arrows a bit in case I get a shot at a little thicker skinned PA or OH buck. They seem to be packing a punch when they hit the target.

I am using my compound this year. The arrows are Gold Tips and they are carbon...just have the wood finish and are 11 gpi.
