We have mostly Coverts and anything that isn't a covert we are slowly switching those over as well. Some of our cameras had up to 3,000 pics. We closed down 3 that really didn't show much promise. We had a few decent bucks on camera - no monsters...yet! There are a couple that I would not hesitate to take because they are bigger than the buck I got last year...so, I am excited!!

Nice I am trying to get all coverts as well. I only have two currently hope to have at least two more next year.

What do you do with your pictures? I have mine all in folders on an external hard drive. If I'm really ambitious or there are nicer bucks I break out the pictures into buck folders with their names.

Any pictures of other people by your cameras on the public land?

Do you have lock boxes for them all?

We put all our pictures on the computer and if it is a buck that we have history with, we make its own individual file so that we can see how he grows over the year.

So far this year, we have not had any people on any of the cameras. We did have a bear dog though and that is what caused a little trouble for us on one stand last year. First, we saw the dog, then we saw the owner. This was a stand that we had a lot of deer traffic on - lots of bucks. The pictures went from a ton of pictures to literally ZERO. He did something to that location to literally stop any and all traffic. We obviously packed up and moved out of there. We were able to go about a 100 yards and pick up all the same traffic we lost.

Yes, when we buy the camera, we buy the boxes to go right along with them. We did have one set up stolen last year - stand, camera, steps - but that has been the exception and not the rule. Considering we have 14 set ups out on public land we run a huge risk and luckily for us it has worked for us so far...knock on wood!

Just got off work or I would be in my stand now. Getting a little shut eye and I'll be out for a evening hunt and the next two mornings as well.

A couple spike bucks stood 24 yards out for about 10 minutes a piece. All the action I had tonight. Hopefully big boys will show in the morning. [IMG]

    Keep at it BLT!

I jumped a pretty nice buck from his bed this morning while scouting the PA public land piece I intend to hunt this year. Back at it for another half day scout tomorrow.

I had at least 200 spiders latch onto me over the past three days of scouting....cob webs in my eyes, almost bit by a snake....walked 1.5 miles to one spot and it should be good!
