About me: I live in Northeast Ohio, I am 33 years old and been around this forum from day one. I have been in this contest every year and put up a few points each year of the contest. I hope to put up my share of points again this fall.
nsimmons checking in!!! My name is Nate Simmons, I live in Neillsville, WI. I am 22 years old grew up in Chippewa Falls, WI (Home of Leinenkugals Beer). I mainly hunt up near my cabin in Spooner, WI. I plan to expand into multiple new hunting areas this year. My main goal for the season is to get my girlfriend her first deer with a bow. I will be helping her out with that for the early part of the season and come primetime we will spread out more. I will be taking off the first week of November this year for bowhunting the entire week. I have never been able to do this so I am pretty excited about that. This is my first year that I will be filming during bowhunting so I am hoping to be able to get you all some great footage. This is also my first year in the deer contest, I just missed the sign up for it last year. I have been on the site pretty much everyday since I have joined. Checking in: I'm 48 and from the Twin Cities Hunt the big woods near Mille Lacs. Hunted my whole life but took up bowhunting just last year. Look forward to using what I learned to down my first deer with a bow. My 14 year old son is my hunting partner and he's probably more addicted than I am. He's the one that will make me get out into the woods and make it happen. I second the buckeye captain nomination.
Checking in... My name is Melissa. I am 38 years old. I am from MN, but currently live and hunt in WI. I am getting married in 4 days, so I am a little focused on that right now, but after this weekend it will be all about hunting season! This will be my 3rd year bowhunting, well just hunting in general. My first year I got a doe, last year I got a doe and small 8 pointer. This year I am hoping to beat last year! I like your idea, here is a spin off of it... Shadows Angles... Shadow from Virginashadow's name and Angles from your "Charlies Angles" reference in "Charlies Devils". Keep the suggestions coming so we aren't one of those dysfunctional teams that takes a month to pick a name

-Checking In- My name is Tate, I'm 28 years old and from Kentucky. This will be my second hunting season. Scored a 8 point last year in this contest for my team. I did just start a new job that will probably hinder my hunting time a little but if I can get into the woods a couple mornings early in the season, I should be fine. I have a couple good bucks patterned pretty well right now but if I don't get one early then it may get interesting. Brett, 38 here. Known some of the guys/gals on here for a decade +. Pretty unique hunting situation for me this year as my wife and kids are living in PA and I am working in Virginia. Will be definitely hunting VA but only a little bit, OH for 5 days during the rut and then maybe a few days in mid Nov, and PA definitely for a good bit. I will be back hunting public lands in all those states. Buckeye for captain and now that we are on the same team I will take those exact coordinates to OH. hahahaha
I overlooked it right away to. I am a drafter for a structural engineering company out of Minneapolis. I work from home now though for the same company. I know what you mean with angles and angels haha
