Yep! Got a few good ones on camera but I've seen a real monster that seems to be camera shy. Hopefully he's still around.

Good luck! Would be sweet to kill a velvet buck. Maybe one of these days.

Good luck KY! I might be on a doe hunt or two next week if the temps are A LOT lower. It has been hot and humid as heck here lately and I ain't sitting in a tree when it is 90 degrees.

Thanks. I hear ya. It's miserable here right now. i think I know where the bucks are right now. It's public land and I plan on striking while the iron is hot. It won't last long and if I don't get on a good one early it may be November before I get a better chance.

    hi team.
won't be around a computer much for the next month but will check in when i can.
mosquitos are out in full force now. worst in years:bigcry:

camera checks have shown quite a few deer have left the river bottoms in favor of more open ground to avoid the swarms.

good luck fellas and put some big bone on the ground!!

Here are a few pics of the bachelor group I've been tracking. The big bodied deer in the last pic has my interest. Can't make out his rack but he is clearly a much older deer. I plan to be about 20 yards east of this spot on opening morning. Hoping to catch him on his feet during daylight. Saw a monster from the truck near this spot in June but haven't gotten a trail cam pic. Pics on my phone aren't clear. I'll try to post better pics later when I can get on my computer.

Not legal here. Starting to worry because I don't hear any oaks dropping. Last year was a total acorn bust.

Feeders are not legal during season here. I have used them in late winter to get pictures.

Wisconsin and no feeders here. Can still bait in some areas. Generally if CWD was found in an area no baiting in that county and all the counties bordering it.
