We are only up by 13 pts. Every deer counts! I'm hoping on a late season miracle to kill a buck. I'm still at it...guys around here usually stop hunting hard by this time each year, leaving the woods a lot less pressured. I need to find some food sources and hope a buck moves before dark.

I just finished this blind the other day. If I have to sit in it with a heater during the late season, I will. Don't give up on me yet. I still have hopes of putting one down this week. I think I will find time over the next three days to get in some sits.

Good luck Fletch. Awesome looking ground blind. I've never hunted out of something like that, ever. Never killed a deer out of a ground blind.

I have a few. One buck that grossed in 170's. I was in a wagon blind with a decoy setup at 13 yards. Eye level at that distance is quite a rush for sure. The bale blinds are awesome because you can move them and hunt out of it the same day and the deer pay no attention. Especially around hay country like I have. It's lined with heavy plastic to be water proof and cuts out the wind. I use them mostly for late gun seasons, but they also work great for spring turkey season. This one is on skids and I can pull it any where on the farm, or pull it onto my car trailer and move it that way too. I probably don't have $200 dollars in it.

Had a decent sit yesterday afternoon. I saw about 35 deer total. 6 or 7 bucks, but none of them were what I was looking for. Back at it this afternoon.

Our gun season opened up yesterday and bow is closed until the late season now. I went and sat with my muzzleloader last evening and actually passed up a pretty good buck because he was coming out near a bow stand of mine and all I could think about was, I better leave him for a chance with the bow. lol.

Great buck! Good luck with the bow. Good luck Fletch.

I'll be out a couple of mornings this week. Not real productive morning hunting right now but that is the time that is available
