One thing I will say too is nobody on the team should feel obligated to shoot a certain size deer. Shoot whatever you like, this is just a friendly contest!!

I'm a machinist. Been in the trade for almost 20 years now. The previous shop I worked for we did a lot of machine work for a local papermill.. Rolls and such.

I'm one of those guys that relies on the ever lying weather man an likke this morning it was supposed to be raining and i was gonna go sit in my blind but of course its not and the weather man changed everthing they where saying last night from 50 and 60 percent chance in the morning down to 20 percent and nothing on the radar was looking forward to that!!!!

Went on my first sit of the year yesterday. I have a really good white oak flat way back off the grid on some public land that is holding a ton of deer; however, the area hasn't been open yet this year. So I went to my backup spot. I had to carry in a climber and by time I got to the tree I was drenched in sweat. THEN after sitting in the tree for an hour a thunderstorm rolled in and I had to climb down.

 

Looks like we got r first 50 points she is way smaller than what I thought but she is meat in my freezer my shot was better than I thought as well got liver and just clipped the guts all in all least I found her before the yotes and before she spoiled she maybe went 100yards
